Kids of the Kingdom vol 2. on Eweson label. Kids of the Kingdom are young talented children of the same parents. Who have decided to venture into their fathers profession. These songs are meant to inspire every child to aspire for excellence in life, both physical and spiritual.Their mother is a keyboardist, while their father John Ndidika Ewelukwa Udegbunam is a professional music producer, song writer, sound engineer, film director, editor, etc.
The children wrote many of the songs, while their father wrote some, but played major role in the production and arrangement.
The album, “Kids of the Kingdom Vol.1 and II” are on Eweson Communications Label, a company which their father is director.
The children sang all the songs in the album.

Udegbunam as was known by then started his music career in ‘70s.The album took top position for very long time when it was released and sold in great quantity. The great opposition to the album by those who are not Christians or serious Christians especially way ward women popularized the album. The gospel message in the album was very hard –the album was nick named “Madam wawawa” which means a woman who does not stay at a place-eager to commit adultery, get drunk, fight her husband, leave the children etc. The song is in Igbo language, south east Nigeria. SONGS OF THE MISSIONARIES BY JOHN EWELUKWA UDEGBUNAM.This gospel album is in Igbo Language south east Nigeria. These Songs are dated back during the early White Missionaries arrival on the shore of River Niger in a Town called Onitsha, South east Nigeria. These missionaries and their converts composed songs in Igbo Language, while some of the songs in English translated or the melody used for fixation of Igbo Lyrics. These songs were very powerful, some depict the persecutions they went through those early days of the gospel. I always have nostalgia whenever I hear these songs. They remind me the cost the early missionaries and converts paid for the gospel to be spread. These are also the songs we sang when I was a child during my kindergarten and primary school days.
